Privacy Policy

This site asks for very little, keeps almost nothing, and tracks nobody. What follows is the whole of it, in plain language.

Who this is about

This policy covers www.sapnakhemani.com and the consultations arranged through it. Sapnaa Khemani is the data fiduciary: she decides what is collected and why. She practises from Delhi-NCR, India, and sees clients in person and online.

What is collected

One thing only: what you type into the session request form. That is your name, your email address, a ten-digit phone number, the reading you are interested in, and your message.

You give it because you want a reply. That is the only purpose it is used for, and it is never used for anything else — no mailing list, no marketing, no profiling, and it is never sold, rented or shared for advertising.

Your IP address is seen briefly by the server when you submit the form, and held in memory for about a minute so that the same address cannot flood the inbox. It is never written to disk and never linked to your enquiry.

What is not collected

One small thing is kept in your own browser: a flag remembering that you have already seen the opening animation, so it does not replay on every visit. It stays on your device, is cleared when you close the tab, and is never sent anywhere.

Who else sees anything

A handful of services make the site work. Each receives only what it needs, and each has its own privacy policy.

How long anything is kept

Your enquiry stays in her mailbox for as long as it is useful to the conversation you started, and is deleted once that purpose has passed or when you ask for it to go, whichever is sooner. Nothing is archived elsewhere.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may:

Ask through the session request form or on WhatsApp, and say what you would like done. Requests are answered by Sapnaa herself, normally within a few days and in no case later than the ninety days the law allows. There is no charge, and asking will never affect how you are treated as a client.

If you are not satisfied with the answer, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

This site is meant for adults. Readings are not offered to anyone under eighteen without a parent or guardian arranging them, and no enquiry from a child is knowingly kept. If you believe a child has sent one, say so and it will be deleted.

Security, and honesty about it

The site is served over HTTPS, and the credentials used to send email live on the server, never in the page. Because nothing is stored in a database, there is very little here to lose. No transmission over the internet is ever completely secure, though, and email in particular is not confidential by nature — so please do not put anything into the form you would not put in an ordinary email.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date below changes with it. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
